    wallpaper problem

recently my desktop wallpaper become the colour of the one which is shown in windows colour and appearance, in spite the fact that i have my own wallpapers set.

and when i end the 'explorer.exe' process in task manager, the wallpaper suddenly comes back. i believe that is a problem with explorer.exe or some dll files, anyone has the same problem or has the solution? please reply to this post.

Run SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker . If there is any system file corruption, it will fix it, and will bring your computer back to the condition before any tweaks (like application of custom theme) you made.

Please post back what happens .

You are running two anti viruses simultaneously, if I am not wrong: Microsoft Security essentials and Norton 360 (from your task manger screen-shot).
Can you remember if this has been appeared after recent update of any of these two antiviruses? (see log)
Though I have not heard any conflict between MSE and Norton, still...old practice not to run two AV programs simultaneously.
First Do as Arc said, then if it recurs, uninstall any one of them.

ran the command, didnt seem to help.
the 'norton 360' you've mentioned is actually a chinese program, a trojan firewall. I have it installed even before the problem came, so ni dont think that there is a conflict.
    And thanks for your comments
