Cheers, John Yup-yups solution does and so do the one I posted, but mine doesn't work with some versions of FF x64. It'll work on x64 windows with 32bit FF though. | My System Specs

It will do it if the text is made bigger or the line-spacing is changed, but when you add a shadow it just adds scroll arrows top and bottom. Instead I tried to make it like like jumplists. I've kept the Aero border and gave the background a blue color. Here's the code for anyone interested; Code: /*-----------------menus--------------------------*/
menupopup, popup:not(#autoscroller){
-moz-appearance: -moz-win-glass !important ;
background-color: #f2f6fb !important;

}
menupopup > menu,
popup > menu {
margin: 0 0 0 0 !important;
border: none !important;
padding: 0 0 0 0 !important;
}
menupopup > menuitem,
popup > menuitem {
margin: 0 0 0 0 !important;
border: none !important;
padding: 0 0 0 0 !important;
}
menuitem
{
margin: 0 0 0 0 !important;
border: none !important;
padding: 0 0 0 0 !important;
}
menuitem > .menu-iconic-left
{
margin: 1px 0 0 0 !important;
border: none !important;
padding: 0 0 0 0 !important;
}
menu > .menu-iconic-left
{
margin: 0 1px 0 1px !important;
border: none !important;
padding: 0 0 0 0 !important;
} Just add it to a stylish page or your userchrome.css file.

Firefox Versions Quote: Some of the styles are only supported in firefox 3.1 or higher... So this glass effect can only be used on the FF 3.1 beta? I have version 3.0.10, which I though was the latest (highest) regular release of FF.
Is there another, newer version of FF floating around out there? | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number me / #1 OS windows 7 x64 Home Premium CPU intel q6600 Motherboard gigbyte ga ep45 ud3l Memory g.skill 8gb ddr2 1066 (pc2 8500) Graphics Card evga geforce 9800 gtx 512 mb Screen Resolution 1680 x 1050 Case smilodon (yes, t'was the pretty blue lites that got me!) Well, even though I'm running FF 3.0.10, I went ahead an tried these modifications. The good news is they worked (I think). The bad news is the Firefox Glass style turns the background of my bookmarks black -- which makes it unreadable because the text is also black.
And I also didn't gain any transparency effects. The border is the only part of the browser that is see-through, and it was see-through before I started these modifications. I get no transparency in the open tabs (like in post #1).
Harumph! | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number me / #1 OS windows 7 x64 Home Premium CPU intel q6600 Motherboard gigbyte ga ep45 ud3l Memory g.skill 8gb ddr2 1066 (pc2 8500) Graphics Card evga geforce 9800 gtx 512 mb Screen Resolution 1680 x 1050 Case smilodon (yes, t'was the pretty blue lites that got me!) But how you do it on autoit is to find a stylish mod for the page you want and then turn the background-color black. You do the same with all glass except you need to edit the dwmoverlay.js first, details here; All-Glass Firefox - Neowin Forums. It's messy though cause it turns everything that is black to transparent. To fix it you'd have to write a stylish sheet for every page you visit that corrects the text. | My System Specs

If you want aero style menu/status bar text, try this; Code: color: black !important;
text-shadow: white 0px 0px 10px,
white 0px 0px 10px,
white 0px 0px 10px !important;
opacity: 0.9 !important; | My System Specs | | [How To] get aero glass in firefox (completely) problems? All times are GMT -5. The time now is 12:39 PM.
