It looks absolutely sharp having FF completely in Glass but I cannot work with that on a day to day bases with my eye sight.
I uninstalled Glasser since I didn't need it anymore.
What I have right now is Glass frames and glass menus.
Attachment 123163

Achieved by installing Stylish 1.0.11
with the script from your post "Glass every single part of Firefox 3.5"
Hmmm if that's suits your requirement, i guess then its good... but here is what i finally achieved this morning after racking my brain & trying all combinations for 4 hours (not to forget the countless styles & FF vrsion i tried over the last 5 months).... Finally i got the full Glass effect on my FF 3.5.11 with Glassed menus (that was never a problem),Glassed Google, every website & above all the entire FF is glassed NOW........Hurray!!! This is what i wanted for a very long time........

Add-ons:
New Glasser by SzymekPL 2.2.0.3.7 (u can get it from Mozilla)to make the menu bar transparent
Stylish 1.0.11 (again from Mozilla)
Styles:
Black Background
Glass about Pages
Glass every part of Firefox 3.5
Google Glass International Style (since useing Google)

Here are the styles: (though you can get it on various pages of this thread)
But i have to search for some of the styles, so trying to reduce your search time....
Black Background.txt

Glass About Pages.txt

Glass Every Single Part of Firefox 3.5.txt

Google glass international style.TXT (if you use other then Google)

Google search glass style.TXT (if you use Google then use this style)

SevenForums Black RC.txt (to make our own lovely 7forums look in black if its your favorite color)

Hope this help!!! Happy trying

Your method appears to work, but it cannot control the text color at all either, right?

Well buddy i can control my FF fonts color by the same step as i mentioned & its working fine for me....i can change it to any color i want accordingly....If you are using any other style other then i have mentioned then i'm really sorry but i'm not sure of how to control the font in that situation (even i'm novice) ... Probably the person who have written the script can help you or some1 who know how the scripting works...Sorry!!!

Doesn't work. I even downgraded to 3.5.11 and installed the styles as you linked to, exactly the same way. Still have the same text problem with the same ugly colors. I then tried adding the New Glasser Addon and that made the background completely black, so I'm not sure what went on there.

It would be nice if someone with knowledge of this could help out? Anyone? These text colors are so dumb and impractical....

Did you disabled the Glasser addon & then applies or only New Glasser is enabled??? Just put a screenshot of your FF so some1 can look at it & what exactly you are refering to, that might give some1 some idea & they might be able to give the solution!!!

Hello, diomedes. I have a small Stylish script that changes background and link colors. I use it with the scripts you are using... it plays nice with them. It makes Firefox look like this:What does your browser look like

I made the unclicked links gold and the clicked ones green, but you can change them in that script pretty easily. You can find the script here:What does your browser look like

I'ts beginning to make sense now, stevieray. Your script makes at least the basics possible. However, I cannot seem to change the basic grey text color. Or am I just having difficulty finding that in the script? I can find the link colors and change them, more or less.

Of course, the *real* problem is this: When you open a dialog box in firefox the text there is PERFECT! It's white with a black border, it looks great and it's easy to read. Why can't the main FF window have that setting? They're all transparent windows, after all, aren't they? I think to some extent black text as a selectable color in the main FF window is out of the question since the background is set to black to all ow transparency. But that's very unfortunate, because the only desktop wallpapers that look good now are very dark ones.

Hmmm... that's odd. My text is white on a (usually) clear background. In my main FF window I left the text and background selectors set to default [Tools - Options - Content - Fonts & Colors - Text = Black, Background = White, Allow pages to choose... = checked]. Try it with these reset to default, and I'll read back through your posts and see if I can spot anything funky.
