I am new to this forum and have a question.

I have a new computer with Windows 7 home basic on it and all works well. Except the external harddrive of Iomega 250GB USB 2.0. The computer doesn´t see the drive. On this drive is are the backups of files that I want to install on this new computer.
How can I solve this problem? I googled for drivers but cannot find anything.

Hi
It would really help if you can let us know what mother brd and general hardware you have,
Does the external drive work in another pc? it may be that your sysytem drivers need updating as this should auto configure, with out knowing the above it's hard to direct you further, other than refering back to either system or general updates.

Regards

Peter

The problem is solved. Someone gave me the suggestion to clean to contacts of the usb-cable and now it works. Thank you for your answers.
