No driver for the built in webcam  

Hi there i dont no if im posting this in the correct place if not could the mods please move it thanks.ok im running win7 on a toshiba l300 lappy it orignaly had vista on it but im not in to it for many reasons so i decided to try win7 every thing went well on the install the only prob i have found at the moment is that i have no driver for the built in webcam so if anyone can help or call me a dic* for not reading up on the threads first i would be greatfull thanks very much

Which release version of 7 are you running...7100?
Some of the earlier versions of the beta didn't have as much success (IMHO) with printers and other peripherals like TV tuner cards etc, as later beta builds.

Hi Decca m y version is 64bit 7000 build must be an old one and ive just found out that its not compatable as far as no but never mind some time you luck is up and some times its dowm thanks anyway guys.

I was having the same problem, but they don't provide windows 7 drivers for the L300 series. However, I did find a 64 bit windows 7 driver for the chicony webcam that works for me. The Driver was released for the Satellite A-305-s6905, but it works just fine on my L300D. The Link is:
