    Audio driver load failure help


    I am trying to load a sound recording driver that has worked in the recent past on this windows 7 install. The file:///C:/Windows/inf/setupapi.dev.log is below with the failure:

    Any ideas on what the problem is now?

    From the inf file I take it that this isnt a win 7 driver. Have you tried instlling it in compatibility mode? right click the installer>properties>compatibility>choose your os.

    Audio Driver Load Failare Update


    I set compatibility mode to XP and reran the install. The ran with no errors and said the device were properly loaded with 3 green check marks for the midi, usb and audio drivers. However, when I reboot as the install calls for I get the same error of driver not found. Here is the updated dev.log with the install section. The usb and midi drivers install fine. It's just the audio driver that cannot be found.
