ASUS M2R32-MVP mobo needs windows 7 drivers!

I recently switched from Vista to 7 and am having trouble finding Windows 7 drivers for my ASUS M2R32-MVP motherboard. On ASUS' site is a search with 3 boxes (hardware, socket, and the series), I pick motherboards, then socket AM2, then the board M2R32-MVP. This brings me to a second page where a box comes up prompting me to select an OS, but the only options are DOS, Netware, Unixware, Linux, Win98SE, WinME, Win2K, WinXP, Win2003, WinXP 64bit, Win2003 64bit, Vista 32bit, Vista 64bit, other.

There is no option for Windows 7 either 32 or 64 bit. This comes as a surprise because there is a thread on this site with my exact problem and someone posted the ASUS site as the solution and other posters seemed to accept iy... have they stopped supporting my mobo for 7 or what?

I've read suggestions that vista drivers could do it but when I put in the disk that came with my mobo it wouldnt read. I put a lot of money into this computer for gaming, but without those drivers nothing works properly. Can any anyone help me?

    Hi and welcome

You need to install them in compatibility mode. Simply right click the installer that came on the cd go to properties>compatibility>choose OS. let us know if this doesnt help

That didn't work. When I went into the compatibility option Windows 7 wasn't there

Install them in Compatibility Mode and select "Vista SP2." You'll need to download the Vista drivers in either 64 or 32 bit, depending on what Win 7 is.
