    Bluetooth not working

Someone please help me make my bluetooth work. I'm using an acer aspire 4745G core i5 2gb RAM with the ATI Radeon card. I can't seem to make my BT work! I've installed atheros and Broadcomm for my Bluetooth but it just does not work. I mean, It can't detect devices and it doesn't get detected. I' ve also used FN+ F3 but it still doesn't work. When I try to click the Bluetooth Icon in the task bar and click it's settings it just wouldn't show up. My Bluetooth isn't even present in control panel. Hope you guys can help me out as I'm really confused. Oh I also have win7 ultimate OS. Thanks!

Thanks for the welcome! So should I install my drivers using compat mode? I'll try looking into it. I'm just wondering, most of the devices are working really smooth (Wifi, intel change graphics etc) but its just that I can't seem to make my bluetooth work.

Does your communications indicator show activity?
Also, do you have bios 1.15?
