Are you using the latest drivers for your video card?
Also, have a look in Device Manager to see if there are any issues (yellow exclamation mark) against your display adapter.

there is any issuses the graphic card is correctely installed there is no exlamation mark.

also i've got the last update for may graphic card ( nvidia geforce 8500 GT )
