    Mass Storage Controller

In device manager Under the tab Other Devices is Mass Storage Controller, it has a yellow triangle with a black exclamation mark inside. I can't seem to be able to update the driver or do anything with it to get it to install.

Here is the Hardware ID's for the Mass Storage Controller.

    PCI\VEN_1217&DEV_7130&SUBSYS_01241025&REV_01
    PCI\VEN_1217&DEV_7130&SUBSYS_01241025
    PCI\VEN_1217&DEV_7130&CC_018000
    PCI\VEN_1217&DEV_7130&CC_0180

I also have another device with the triangle so here are the hardware ID's for this aswell.

    ACPI\PNPA000
    *PNPA000

go to device manager and look for any devices with a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark , right click on it and select "update driver" the mass storage controller is usually the media card reader

pebbly.. that sometimes works, but if MS update didn't already find a driver for it, it's because the vendor and device id aren't in its database for windows 7 drivers

This is one one of the issues that really irks me about microsoft and most major computer manufacturers. There are a lot of older computers that can run windows 7 if you can find vista drivers, but have hardware that's officially excluded from the compatibility list.. Seriously, for the first time in microsoft's history, they produced an OS that's lighter on the system than the previous one, then don't support half the hardware that was around when vista was released?

Thank you so much madtownidiot The driver you recomended worked pretty well. I took a look before on that tutorial but I couldn't help myself. I still have problem with PCI MODEM

    PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4378&SUBSYS_3085103C&REV_01
    PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4378&SUBSYS_3085103C
    PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4378&CC_070300
    PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4378&CC_0703

    Would you have any clues?

Thank you so much plebby for your tip. I fixed it, but I still have problems with my PCI MODEM, actually I see in the window DEVICE MANAGER>OTHER DEVICES a yellow triangle on PCI MODEM and under I see a question mark on UNKNOWN DEVICE, when I go to the properties>details I don't see any ID, but there is many options.
