Looking through the Acer official driver listing for this model using XP, Vista or Windows 7 shows nothing listed for what you are looking for, are you sure you're asking for the right thing?

Go to the Control Panel and Devices and see if any device shows a yellow balloon with a ? inside it. If this is your IR then load the driver in compatibility mode using the OS it last worked with which I'm guessing will be XP SP3 or SP2.
