What specifically is showing up in device manager without drivers? If you can go to the Details tab of any unknown device and look at the Hardware IDs and then google them, you should get an idea of what you need.

You're not going to find any either. Intel dropped support for that chipset (855GM) a long time ago,

Older Intel® Graphics Controllers and Microsoft Windows 7*

and as such the only drivers available for it are whatever Windows installs for it. About the best you can hope for is to install the last XP drivers for it using compatibility mode (says Vista drivers, but applies for XP drivers as well),

followed all the instructions from your link the first I did it nothing changed in dxdiag , 2nd time I tried uninstalling
standard VGA adapter and did exactly is it stated after I rebooted and opened dxdiag the display adapter was blank and now my windows turns into a black screen every 5 minutes cause of no VGA adapter >.> takes like 5 minutes for it to go back to normal...x.x stayed black for the entire time I typed this. I'm gonna try downloading an XP driver then running it in compatibility mode and try that if that doesn't work I'm just gonna keep the standard VGA... Oh well I don't even play any games or anything like that mostly just use this for surfing

If your laptop does indeed have the Intel 855GM chipset, then there was the possibility this driver might work. For me, after I installed the driver through the Device Manager, before it would work, I also had to go to the Video Card Properties and select it there as well. The link to the source of the driver also added the possible need of fooling the hardware by first setting the resolution to 1024x768 at the lowest bit possible, then install the driver and after a reboot, return the resolution to the desired 32 bit. I do not know if any of this will help your laptop, but I thought it might be worth a try?

    Cheers!
