I am sorry, I don't know what does "wired connection and running Windows Update" mean?

, they are for xp only so compatibility mode is required ,or you could try installing through windows update and point to where you have extracted the files and install that way
I just put XP Home on my computer and for some reason I don't have WIFI(not visible here either) here either, although I had it in the morning before format for Windows 7...
So I am thinking I used to have the driver but now I can't remember where I got it
Now I tried the driver you gave but this didn't help. And I think it was the wrong driver as well. It was HP, but my computer is Fujitsu Siemens. Maybe I am wrong, but this has been driving me nuts, this no wifi thing...
