No device Drivers when installing Win 7 via usb

Hi there, im trying to install windows 7 on my brothers laptop because he corrupted XP somehow. I downloaded a copy of win 7 and used the command line method to copy the contents of the iso to the usb so it could be bootable. The flash drive was never used on my brothers laptop. after booting, i clicked install windows 7. I got 1/3 of the way through the collecting info part when a message popped up that states "no device drivers were found. make sure that the installation media contains the correct drivers." does anyone know the "correct drivers" and how to get them? fyi the laptop is the compaq mini 110

It an option to be connected during install & the win7 installer will usually download updates & drivers automatically during the install.

i rechecked and there was no option. It ran automatically from the boot. I got to the screen for language and keyboard type. I clicked next, then came to the screen needing the drivers.

    160 GB SATA HDD!

It's waiting for you to load the correct 32 or 64 bit sata driver for Win7

These need to be preloaded onto a usb stick/external drive, CD or floppy disk.

It should work with vista/xp sata driver on original cd that came with product (but 64bit doubtful)

Win7 will auto-update to a better sata driver after initial install

how can I help you if I don't have full info from you?
(should be "tears hair out of head icon" )

Which Win7 flavour Ultimate/Home Premium etc?
    32bit or 64bit?
You now mention 32bit but have 64 in the specs

Is your computer model exactly >>>
    Compaq Mini Cq10 110es

If so download the correct compaq sata/scsi driver for Win7 32bit or 64bit for your hard drive

Have it ready either burned on CD/DVD or on USB stick un-compressed/unzipped ready for Win7 to find automatically
