Did a search on it and only found BSOD threads.

Search of other forums came up with undesireable results: Updating the driver in either a new install or under such other conditions (meaning before system starts).

Anyway, it just happened. After flashing my BIOS to a newer version (F3), Device Manager reported that Marvell 91xx Config ATA Device driver is missing. Online autoupdate didn't work.

I tried using this: Marvell drivers It didn't work. Windows said that this application wasn't working due to incompatibilities with x64 (it being 16bit).

What do i do ? And do i need to do anything ?

hi Ater Vulpes, did you try installing in compat mode? http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/316-compatibility-mode.html the drivers are only for XP :(

Fixed. However Marvell 91xx Config SCSI Processor Device was reported as driverless after installing Marvell 91xx Config ATA Device.
Autoupdate with manual driver folder selection fixed the second problem.

Thanks for the help.

I think bumping an old thread is better than making a new one. I'm having a similar problem, but on Win 7 Ultimate 32 bit. I'm missing the Marvell 91xx Config ATA Device driver and can't find it online. I've been searching for my disk but I can't find it and the automatic search online results in nothing. I clicked the links above, but I honestly don't know what to download in order to fix my problem. Thanks in advance.

Not really, Zardoc. I had the same problem just the other day after I installed SP1. I was hoping to find a solution in an old thread.

Try updating your drivers for your Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe from here:
ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support-
Thanks theog, twofold. One thank you for pointing to the drivers. I reinstalled the chipset drivers from my mobo disc and the problem went away. A second thank you for pointing out that I forgot to update my system specs. They are now fixed.

Sorry for being "a little late". Use DriverMax. It identified the device and found a driver.

I found the solution in another forum and wanted to explain in detail how I solved my problem. I installed LG HD-ROM burner with lightscribe. I did a mistake in connecting it to white SATA port. That has resulted in getting the error for Marvell 91xx config ATA Device - driver not installed. Simple solution is disconnect the HD-ROM Driver from White Port of the motherboard and connect it to other color (I connected it to green). Then my problem solved.
