Multiple Nikon Coolscanners on one machine

Hey, i need to know if its possible to use multiple scanners on one PC?, every time i try to open multiple copies of its software i get a message saying the driver is currently in use, or the software is currently open.

    thanks.

Why would you want to? Yes the driver can only be loaded once. There are ways to get around it but what benefit are you looking for?

got you, and do you have the multiple scanners already?

    Are the scanners USB?

Let me investigate Technet. If you dont hear from me within 24 hours PM me.

I think you can have multiple drivers loaded if they are named differently (would be like having an HP scanner and a nikon)

thanks Ken, yeah i have 2 scanners. At the moment i'm trying to use a virtual machine to act as a separate PC, but having no luck mounting the Scanner to the virtual machine. after my initial attempt at mounting it, just idles and does nothing, when i try again it comes back with an error saying its currently being used.

lol this is suppose to make life easier, but it seems to becoming more and more of a pain.
