You shouldn't need to.
Are you running in AHCI mode BTW? Most boards run in IDE mode by default.

The built in MS AHCI driver actually does very good, and also supports TRIM.
Its actually Standard AHCI 1.0 v6.1.7600.16385 Driver for MS.

If this is the driver it's refering to, you should already have it. And, I think I would trust MS over a Driver Updater program.

Alternatively, if you do not want to use it, and have Intel Chipset, just get the latest Intel Driver directly from their Site.

+1

I would never trust any drivers obtained from one of those driver update programs. At best, they link to some site and want to sell you a bunch of stuff you can get for free, and at worst, they're malware.

According to his specs, its AMD.

I too wouldnt trust those driver programs. They often get the information wrong such as the wrong OS! Im also not sure that they would download a 64-bit driver if you were running 64-bit Windows.
