| windows 7 home premium 64 bit 1 posts | HP deskjet 670c I have HP deskjet 670c printer. I connected the same through USB with USB to Parallel cable to HP pavillion dv6 1245 laptop. As there is no driver for the above printer, I manually loaded 690c driver which worked temporarily. But every time I connect printer, it loads as unknown device and printer does not work. I request some enlightened members to suggest some remedy |

I'm pretty sure your problem is associated to the driver for your Parallel to USB devices ieee drivers not being loaded, if they were then Windows 7 would recognize your 670c it's how my Alienware M17x recognizes my HP 4L by first seeing the ieee connection then the HP4L. |
