Issue with Intel P35 chipset (P5kc)
Hello Windows Seven Forums,
sorry for the long post, but I have to explain my problem properly to get this fixed hopefully.
Last night my windows 7 RC x64 installation died on me for a weird driver issue with my webcam.
After I did a clean reinstall of my computer with the same OS, Drivers and programs. I got a really weird problem.
The problem that I have now is that my HD movies (1080p and 720p) dont run smoothly.
When I start the movie my mouse start to lag heavily and the movie will start eventually but the movie is blurry and the sounds are out of sync.
The problem that I know is about the chipset drivers. I tried to manualy update all my intel drivers but for some reason I just cant get this fixed.
I tried several Codec packs, Video drivers etc. But I am 100% sure it is about the chipset drivers.
What I have done now I installed the Beta client of Windows 7 Build 7000. This OS works completely fine with the movies, no lag or out of sync. I tried to backup the drivers from this OS to the RC, but Windows 7 RC would just not install them. ( even with the Have Disk method).
Now my question is, can anybody tell me what I have to do. Or what I am doing wrong. I had the W7RC working before perfectly, but now I just cant get this to work!
PS: system specs
Asus P5KC mainboard
GC Radeon HD3870
Intel Duo core 6850
4gb DDR 2 OCZ ram
