    Intel Chipset driver error


    Hello,

    I just put my new build together and im installing drivers, i inserted the msi disk and clicked on the chipset driver. after going thought a few screens the screen turned black and the bluescreen popped up. I tried again but by downloading the driver from the website and still the same thing happened.

    have you checked the MSI website for updated drivers and BIOS?
    are you using RAID?

    did you try the automated driver update tool on intel's website?

    did you run windows update?

    try the install from safe mode?

    Also the below link will tell you how to get the files the specialists will need to assess.

    Your bugchecks seem to be pointing to nvlddmkm.sys which I assume is an nvidia driver. For your intel chipset drivers, please be sure you get the correct one for your system setup (ie motherboard, system/make and model, etc.) For the nvidia drivers, please get the latest for your specific card from the Nvidia website. It's a good rule of thumb imo to always get the drivers from the vendor website and not from some driver (one-size-fits-all) site.

    I have the msi bigbang xpower motherboard. The drivers came with the mobo and i also tried the one from MSI's website. i still get the BSOD
