Windows 7: OpenGL error

OpenGL error

"OpenGL Initialization Failure.please verify that your card is openGL compliant SOF 2 in windows 7"
I got this error while starting Soldier Of Fortune:II Double helix.....it is working in XP but not in Windows 7 Ultimate.....!!
My config:
Dell Inspiron 1545
4GB RAM

Check your graphic driver, update it if needed.

I even had NFS: Split second working on my lappy.....video driver update doesn't make sense still i'll try that option.but am pretty sure proble is different....thanx anyway...

Dude thanx updating driver did solved the problem!!!am wondering of how my NFS:split second was working!

NFS: Split Second uses DirectX, SoF uses OpenGL, assuming the laptop driver is either old or Windows's default driver (which either have bad OpenGL support [on old driver] nor have no OpenGL support at all [Windows's default driver]), the most logical step is to update your driver to the latest version... Which was the right step...
