Toshiba SD Card Reader for 7

Recently installed 7 on a cpu that came with XP...Does anyone know where to get a driver for the SD card reader so it will work again? I do not have the cord to hook the camera up to the cpu manually. Thank you.

    Equipment:
    Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit
    Toshiba Satellite A135-S4467

Welcome to SF, Tennvol09. Go Vols!

I'm a little confused. You are asking for a driver for a SD card reader, then mention a cord and camera.

Here are the downloads for your system with Win 7 32-bit:

    Model Content Page

The specs don't mention a card reader. Is this external?

Go Vols is right! Thx for the reply.

I am referring to the internal card reader of the computer...I mentioned the cord and the camera only to explain that I DON'T have the cord for my digital camera, so my only option is using the internal reader

Ah, found it in the specs.

    • 5-in-1 Bridge Media Adapter
o Secure Digital, Memory Stick™, Memory Stick PRO™,
Multi Media Card, xD Picture Card [shared slots]
o Secure Digital slot supports SDIO
Go to Device Manager. On the device>properties>details tab>drop down menu>select hardwareID>Copy and Paste the hardware ID string.

Please let us know 32 or 64 bit windows. Most laptops either use the Ricoh, Texas instruments or conexant card reader.

Same Computer just can't find the mfg of the media card reader

So I've been trying to find the right driver for this same issue on my Toshiba Satellite A135-S4427 running Windows 7 32bit. After I upgraded from Vista the media card reader stopped working. That was right after Windows 7 had been out about 3 to 6 months into its release. Computer has been running fine since except for this issue.
Following the above info I see that the PCMCIA card reader/bus/slot mfg is Texas Instruments but the media card reader is its own stand alone built in reader. The info that I can see in Device Manager list is next below the PCMCIA is "Ports (COM & LPT)" and that is where the error message is. The device is listed as
"Compact Flash OX16CF950 (Com 14)" and the manufacture is listed as "(Enhanced ports)" which is not ( I am guessing) the manufacture.
The error message as to why it is not working is= "This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)".
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
