Windows 7 - AHCI driver for Asus P5KPL-CM

| | AHCI driver for Asus P5KPL-CM Installed a Vertex 2 a few weeks ago...love it. However, I have no AHCI option in BIOS. I do have the latest BIOS for my board, 0702, and the latest SATA/Intel ICH7/R drivers as well. I've gone round and round.. I keep coming across an article for a BIOS flash for a P5K...but it's not the same board as mine... Computer is running fine, speeds are good. What am I missing without ACHI and how can I get an older BIOS that may have this option?? TIA (The reason, by the way...is to update the sandforce firmware on my Vertex2. It's currently on 1.11 and 1.23 is out but it must be done via AHCI...) |
