| | Pebbly You ROCK!!!!!! the video driver worked for the video still having web cam issue though.... device manager says its there but in skype in the video settings i get a error message saying cant start video renderer. check you've got a valid direct X installation when i try to install direct X I get Direct X has determined that a newer or equivalent version of direct X has been installed already. No installation is necessary. |

| | nollerd , Sony laptops are a little bit finicky on the order software is installed , if you did not install in this order that is why you may be having problems 1= Sony shared library 2=setting utility series 3= Vaio event services 4= vaio control centre did you install in this order ?  |
