    Hi,

I would look through Device Manager to see if that device name is appearing elswhere. If so then it might not be the particular controller you're installing that's showing an error in Device Manager.

You could try uninstalling the device (and checking the'Delete' software box if it appears) then robooting Windows to see if it find anything for it. You should also be given an option to search online thru the Windows Update service for drivers.

Ok, now that the device has been found you should be able to update the drivers. What is the make and model of the device?

The device is like an easycap device to connect consoles (wii, ps2, ps3, xbox etc) to your computer. Here is a picture of what it looks like.

Try downloading and installin the trial version of Drive Genius and see if it shows any information regarding the driver.
