MX Revolution volume control issue

Hi All. Not really sure if this belongs in Driver, Audio or Hardware, but Driver is my best guess.

Volume control on the MX is screwy. Hitting volume-up causes the system volume to go immediately to max no matter where it was set previously. Hitting volume-down causes system volume to drop one notch below 100% and that's as far as it will go. Really loud or slightly less than really loud. System volume works fine on my Sidewinder X6 keyboard, so I'm guessing a Logitech driver issue?

Wondering if anyone else has this issue or if anyone is successfully using the feature in Vista or Seven x64... and of course, if anyone knows of a fix?

Logitech SetPoint 4.72.40 x64

Any help greatly appreciated
