hi i just bought an acer 8930 laptop but it has windows vista installed ive set up a dual boot with windows 7 but having problems getting acer bio protection working i cant seem to get the right drivers only vista and they dont work ;-// just hoping someone else has had same probelm but got it fixed some how.
do i have to use acer bio prection driver or will fingerprint reader work with other software?? any help much appreeciated i kinda like the fingerprint scan option

Hi darrenE, welcome to the forums, use the vista driver you have in compatibility mode Compatibility Mode If it works in vista it should work in win7
