My Samsung laptop keeps restarting after driver install

    I have spent today trying every possible solution suggested to no avail, and have thus returned to Vista.

    It would appaer that at the moment It is impossible to install nvidia drivers on a Samsung R560 in Vista 7 64-bit

    @Kinghttpo1: It's not impossible to install the video card drivers they have to be modded. using either this method for Nvidia cards sevenforums.com/graphic-cards/26710-nvida-driver-install-start-finish.html or using the mod from NVIDIA MobilityModder - DriverHeaven.net You need to mod the .inf file. First download and unpack the driver if necessary then follow the modding directions. Fabe

    @llkkjj welcome to seven forums. go to device manager>click on display adapter>properties>details tab>drop dpwn menu>hardware id. Copy and Paste the id string. this way we can find out what vdeo card the laptop has. Most likely like above it will need to be modded to work properly. Fabe

    I'm afraid modded inf files make no difference, its a shame but nothing seems to work
