    Hi gee9043,

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking but if you updated the directx files and are still getting errors it could be the video card the the laptop has. A lot of games require something stronger then what that laptop has to offer in way of a video card.

The other issue could also be that the game is too old the run under Windows 7. Warcraft 3 was released in Jul of 2002 - Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Be aware that a lot of older games do not play well on either Window 7 or Vista, and especially on 64-bit versions.

I would suggest you Google the game to see if anyone has got it running on Windows 7 and what it took to get it to run.

If i'm misunderstanding what you're asking, please clearify.

    Thanks

Actually I think I pretty much answered your question here.... directx? gc driver?

But you can have a look at this guide - Tips on Troubleshooting Game Issues

We see lots posts about problems with games that won’t run, have bad performance, or simply won’t install under Windows 7. The purpose of this post is to provide some simple tips on troubleshooting basic game issues. It is not all inclusive, nor is it meant to be, considering there are hundreds of things to try when troubleshooting PC games. This is simply a reminder of some basics.
You can try reinstalling the game but honestly between the laptop, the fact that the game is 8+ years old, that you're running a 64-bit version of Windows, and you don't know what update(s) affected the system doesn’t speak well of getting the game to run.

As I said before.... Google the game and see if others have it running on Win 7 64bit and see what they did to get it running.

    i search before from google.
they all answer are update directx and graphic driver.

but i did it already, still cannot solve my problem.
not only for warcraft, any 3d game also can't run.

but my win7 still is aero effect....

i type dxdiag, display show my direct all is disable,
and i go trouble shooting, they are grey and can't click.
