Windows 7: Intel Matrix Storage Manager

I have been running Windows 7 RC 7100 for few days now, but I have not been able to install Intel Matrix Storage Manager 8.8 (the LATEST version) on it [look at system specs for my computer]. The downloader loads the files it needs then asks to install and then it automatically goes to "Finish", without installing anything. I have been using Vista x64 drivers for Windows 7 except for hardware that show up in Windows Update made for Windows 7. I don't know if Intel has discontinued developing drivers for GM965 Express, though the last graphics driver update was in March and now Windows 7 is getting new versions of GM965 drivers instead of Vista, I wonder if that's the case with Matrix too?
