How do I install the Razer deathadder drivers + Firmware.

Hi! I am new to the forums but I'll get to the point. I am getting a Razer Deathadder 3500 DPI Gaming Mouse for Christmas from amazon.com. I am really excited about it but heard it had driver and firmware issues that could totally break the mouse. What should I do when I receive the mouse? Should I use the CD Drivers, plug in the mouse and then update them from razerzone.com? Should I install the drivers, plug in the mouse, then install the firmware? Should I install the CD, plug in the mouse then install the drivers and firmware from razerzone? I have heard that you should install the drivers and then the firmware. There are just so many wrong ways to do it but could you please tell me the right way? I REALLY DON'T Want this mouse to break the first day. Oh and I don't even know if it comes with a CD

I plugged in my Razer Salmosa, used the .exe on the CD, which automatically downloaded the latest drivers and installed them and then started playing Bioshock - last year.

Anyone else experienced with Razer mice if you use any other USB device it will temporarily disable your Razer mouse funtions for about 30 seconds. Sometimes if dosent even kick back in, you have to open your razer control panel and re-do your custom settings?

I haven't experienced the other USB issue, but I have had function/re-map problems due to using Razer software on two separate installations.

My Lachesis got so confused that I had to do a few full resets on the mouse and software re-installations just to get the keys back. Razer software/macros can be a little finicky at times.

I basically said screw it, and uninstalled the Razer software and changed mouse button functionality under the control panel

No issues with my Razer mouse pad yet
