Windows 7 automatic updates is not bringing up the HID non-user input data filter update to fix the problem. I download the HID non-user input data filter here
Microsoft Update Catalog, now I just have to fiqure out where to put it or how to install it.

Good Morning Lappydog -
I went to the link in your message. I allowed it to install and saved it as a Favorite in Internet Explorer. I hope that is what You were asking. Also - It was somewhat laborious - but I went back to my Vista Install Listed all hardware in the Device Manager - names, versions, and
driver dates. This allowed me to know for sure that the install of Vista Premium was equivalent - at least - to my Windows 7 Install. Let me know if I can assist You in any way. All the while we are learning together. God's Speed to You. Patrick
