For starters, no Windows XP driver will work on Windows 7, Vista drivers often will, but definitely not XP ones.

If the printer is an old model (more than 3 years) there's every chance there will never be a Windows 7 driver for it. Writing new drivers costs money, so the printer manufactures have to make savings by writing new drivers only for their new or recent models, abandoning driver support for the older ones. It's unprofitable for them to continue supplying new drivers for older printers when what they would rather you do is buy a new printer.

I've been on their website and had a look round on their driver pages, unfortunately the Tally T2130/24 isn't even listed. I think you'll have to buy a new printer if you want to print with Windows 7. That's what the printer manufacturers are hoping to cash in on when we move up to a new version of Windows.

Did you try the XP drivers in compatability mode?
If not have a look at this tutorial.

    Hi All,

    thanks for the feedback.

basically since I new with the system, I don't know how to select the printer driver manually in Win7.

I've found accidentally how to add new peripherals' driver manually. as a result i solve the problem my using my old driver which is dedicated for WinXP. anyway, the manufacturer also send me a suggestion to use different model's which is compatible with the printer.

    Cheers,
