How to install drivers?

Hi, I have lots of zip files with drivers I need for a netbook upgrade to Windows 7. How do I install these? Is it just follow the wizard or should I copy over the existing file?

Sorry if this is a very basic question - just want to be 100% sure thanks

If you have a wizard that is a good way to do it.

Basically most drivers go over the older ones unless the manufacturer states you should unload the previous driver. Some Wizards actually do remove the older driver before loading the newer one. The ones that are often needing to be removed are ATi and nVidia video drivers although even this is not always the case. The best way to remove a driver would be to do it in Control Panel under the Device Manager then uninstall driver, if you have CCleaner loaded on your PC you could run it to clean any vestige of the driver then run the appropriate Wizard and life in the fast lane returns in your Windows 7 experience.
