nm! I don't have Realtek sound, it's VIA Vinyl™ VT1708B - 8 channel HD Audio Codec with DTS Connect.

I'll check Via's site for drivers.

edit 2:

w00t got it fixed, went here for latest VT1708 drivers, ran the SETUP.EXE in Vista compatibility mode.

Can't get mine to work followed your instructions. Which version of vista Compatibility mode did you choose. And whats your Motherboard model Vdeck crashes when I try to pick expert mode. Thanks! Ben fighting it.
