    Driver not installed


    good afternoon ..
    I have a problem, just installed window seven he did not install the driver for your sound card then I have a dvd with over 1000 drivers, I installed more still not gettin sound, I downloaded one with windows update and also says that encounters a problem and can not install the driver ..
    my motherboard is: ASUS P5VD1-X DRIVER SOUND CARD C-Media AC97 audio device

    Hi ysnafy, welcome to the forums , try this link http://ut200x.ath.cx/vista-x64/AC97 the driver on the asus site is for win xp only your sound card is the soundmax ADI ad1888 :)

    youllbelost , his works, just put in compability mode with windows xp SP2, will ignore the error and restart commands and is ready to hear a little song ...
