Clean Install on Gateway Profile 6 - need IPMI & PCI Serial Drivers

Just did a clean install (32-bit) on a Gateway 6 "All-in-one" that was previously running XP-Pro.

Device manager identifies IPMI Interface and PCI Serial Port Interface as not having drivers installed. They are not on my PC, and Gateway offers no help at all for this model on Windows 7. Tried automatic and manual browsing - no luck.

Any help would be appreciated.

Look at this post.

Does intel's driver update utility report any findings?

How, if at all, is your PC's functioning affected by the notifications in Device Manager?

Some of those notices are not resolvable but have no affect whatsoever on usage--in which case ignore them.

That may be hard to do, depending on your personal obsessiveness.

The Utility shows "Product Detected" - but no information other than "contact manufacturer" and Gateway site is zero help.

Checking the other post now.

The PCI database just tells me that they are Intel products, but no drivers.

- ignatzatsonic - I can't use my wireless card since these PCI drivers are not functioning.

Assuming this is right, Intel 945 chipset drivers may help you.
