    Need a driver for CanoScan 5000F scanner, Windows 7 x64 HP


    Windows 7 Home Premium does not have XP mode.

    They don't have a windows 7 x64 driver for this particular scanner model at the Canon site since this is an older scanner (from the year 2003). I contacted Canon and was told that they don't provide a windows 7 compatible driver for this scanner.

    I bet you'll have now to install your x32bits drivers in compatibility mode:

    or, if this one can help either:
    Drivers - Install Vista Drivers on Windows 7

Can't find a working driver for my scanner. Any help appreciated.
Anyone aware of a fix so that windows 7 64 bit can install and use caroscan 5000f flatbed scanner?
Just got a new computer with W7 x64. I want to try and use my scanner (for film and slides) but there are no W7 64 drivers available. It is a scanner bought in Japan (and is still here:)) and has Japanese software for the photo application but I have been running it on my old XP machine with...
