Driver install on a clean Win 7 install

In the Win 95 days I remember having to first install MB drivers before the graphics card drivers.

Is this still true for Win 7? Or does Windows go out and get these automatically.

MS paid a lot of money to vendors to write drivers for Windows 7. Unless your system is 4 or 5 years old, Windows 7 should have all the drivers already. Some drivers will be outdated but system should run and then you can check for updates. Download and run this tool on your system.

There were lots of information before Windows 7 was released and stated that MS was paying vendors to write their drivers and get them certified before Windows 7 was released. They didn't want another Vista.

Windows 7 is most compatible windows ever, I got no major drivers issues, on each system I have tried it on.
