    32-bit drivers for 64-bit Windows

    Guys,

My laptop computer has a 64-bit processor, but I've always used Windows 7 32-bit on it, because that was what I had here. Now I have the oportunity to install Windows 7 64-bit, but I think there's a little problem.

The brand of my laptop is Positivo (a famous brand here in Brazil, my country). On their website, I can download all drivers I need, but they are all for 32-bit Windows version. Only two or three are for both 32 and 64-bit version.

So, my question is... Can I use 32-bit drivers on Windows 64-bit? Or do I really need to go after these 64-bit drivers somewhere else, instead of their website?

    ------
    Edit:

Instead of downloading drivers from Positivo's website, would it be the same if I downloaded them from the website of the mainboard (Clevo)? It's weird, because they don't seem to have 64-bit versions either. Where should I go?

    Thanks for your attention.

    brunces

it's better to stick to 32bit for your machine if you can't find 64bit drivers.

i don't know how much ram you have, but the real benefit of 64bit comes when you have 4 gigs or more...
