This did not work, either. It still isn't installed correctly, and there is still the yellow ! where my camera icon is. One thing I noticed that was different from those pictures is that the inf file I chose from the vx3000 folder for the edited drivers was digitally signed. Why is this when these are supposed to be edited drivers?

Sounds like you choose the wrong one. Is your system x64 or 32?

    x64

The .inf file I used was in the "driver64" file, so I assume I had the correct files?

I just thought of something. I had to install something called LIBUSB to get my PS3 controller to work with x64 windows, would this be causing an issue?

After a couple more days of tinkering, I still haven't gotten my VX-3000 to work.

My biggest question is....when I use the inf from the edited drivers directory...why is it saying that they are digitally signed? Everyone else seems to be seeing that there's ISN'T digitally signed.

    *edit*

HA! I downloaded from a different link in this thread(don't remember which, but it only had vx1000 and vx3000) and THOSE finally worked.

I suddenly got the same problem -initialization error- with my VX-3000,
The strange thing is that it worked without any special tricks the whole time and suddenly i get this error.

after i found this forum and thread i finally thought that i got a solution but i was proven wrong:
    1) No H... driver is downloadable anymore
    2) the current lifecam3.0 software does not work either

Does somebody still have the hacked driver i need to get my VX-3000 working with Windows7 64bit?!

Is anyone else having problems downloading these files? Every single one leads to an error page. If nothing else, could someone re-post them so they can be downloaded again. Thanks!
