Windows 7 on Acer Aspire 5920g

    Hello.
I would like to replace Windows Vista on my Acer Aspire 5920g with Windows 7 Professional... Is that possible?
When i look at the drivers' section on the Acer website it has only for Vista. Will they be compatible with the Windows 7?

Is will run fine but I've just upgraded to 7 Home Premium and it fails to install the PCI Memory Controller driver. Did you encounter that problem?? Help Newbie please!

Looks like the Intel Matrix Storage Manager for Windows7 x32bits. you'll have it from intel support & drivers site:

    INTEL:
    http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Deta...17882&lang=eng

    Should be the v8.9.0.1023 22,63Mb to grab(IATACD.EXE)

PS: The one on ACER Site is listed for Vista x32bits...so better have the Intel one.

    Hi NoN,

Downloaded the Intel driver you suggested and its not solved it. All my Windows Updates are erm up to date so not sure what else to try. I could try all the drivers from the Acer site at theog suggests but none of them seem to relate to the PCI Memory (turbo memory I assume). Any futher suggestions or is a call to Acer support the next step (oh-no!)?

    Thanks
