HELP!! Cant find PCIxx12 Cardbus Controller

I have done a unknown device identifier and it keeps saying "@system32\DRIVERS\pci.sys,#1543;PCI to CARDBUS Bridge [UNKNOWN].

I have looked everywhere I can to find this driver. Its for a Sony VGN-NR260E. I have tried the Texas instruments website and they don't list it. With out this driver none of my USB ports will function properly.

If anyone can please help me I would greatly appreciate it.

Have you updated you MB drivers?
You can always go to device manager>click on the device>properties>detai;s tab>drop down menu> select hardware ID>Copy and Paste the hardware ID string and we can look for a driver that way. Please incluse 32 or 64 bit
    Thanks Fabe

I downloaded the driver from that link and tried to install it. It says it can only be installed in Vista, so i tried changing it in compatibility mode and it wont let me change it.

I have the driver and have been using it for over 1 year. Just download it from my post. This is a rare driver and took me about 1 month to find it. Works with a HP dv 5215us laptop. This is a 7 driver. Just install it directly from device manager.

Sadly no go, still does not work, I cant find any info on that driver anywhere. I went to device manager clicked show hidden devices and that is when it pops us as PCI to Cardbus bridge. I got the hardware IDs for it, they are as follows:

    PCI\VEN_104C&DEV_8039&SUBSYS_902D104D&REV_00
    PCI\VEN_104C&DEV_8039&SUBSYS_902D104D
    PCI\VEN_104C&DEV_8039&CC_060700
    PCI\VEN_104C&DEV_8039&CC_0607

    Yet again please help!!!

If this is the case it may be a 32bit driver and your running a 64bit copy of Windows Seven

I downloaded the driver from that link and tried to install it. It says it can only be installed in Vista, so i tried changing it in compatibility mode and it wont let me change it.
I had no problem changing it when I tried. Just click on the file>compatibility tab>check the box run in compatibility mode>drop down menu>select Vista> check the box at the bottom run in compatibility mode.

    Compatibility Mode
We also haven't established yet if your ruining the 32 or 64 bit Seven

It is a Texas Instruments card bus controller. This is the one listed that pebbly has provided scanned with MSE no Threats found.Attachment 132549

if it won't work then it's probably a 32bit driver and you are running 64 bit.

If that is the case try running the one above in compatibility mode Vista. Post #7, Scan it first.

Here is a 64 bit driver froma different thrad by FZ21Z Who knows a lot about Sony laptops and more.Missing Driver in Win7 x64? (Texas Instruments PCIxx12) Post #2
