Driver and Icon updates whilst on administered domain
I'm having some massive issues with a couple of components (5540 and 5530 WWAN cards but that's another topic) and I was hoping that the windows update and driver search might help, however I can't activate it as my updates are controlled by WSUS on the domain (of which I am an admin).
Additionally the icons for my devices are are still the generic ones on my non-admin profile, but are the enhanced realistic ones on my admin profile and local admin profile.
is there a gp I can use to allow driver updates for users?
is there a gp I can use to allow downloading of updated icons?
