    Software and driver question?

Hi, im new to this forum so hi and thanks in advance. Just a quick question about updating, im using windows 7 home premium on a hp dv7 3110ea, now i regulary update windows and hp using there update software, but on a more recent in depth energy performance scan i found at least 20 various software and driver downloads available to download from the hp site, now i have downloaded a few, bios update and graphics card, but am not sure to download the rest????????? i dont want to douple up on any drivers or downgrade any i already have by downloading these, i generally thought running the hp update would do these, but the bios wasnt'??????? But i also want everything upto date, any help would be appreciated, my computer is running 64bit ,Software & Driver Downloads HP Pavilion dv7-3110ea Entertainment Notebook PC - HP technical support (United Kingdom - English),

Also any help on the original issue would be great, am still trying to work out what this means, and if its a major issue, as what it advises ive done and nothings changed.

    Many thanks
    Tim.

    EDIT:
soz but this was original error message was,'
Platform Power Management Capabilities:ACPI _PSD Object Failed Validation, There is a problem with the definition of the ACPI _PSD object on this computer. Installing the latest system firmware (BIOS) may resolve this issue.'' i have done this but not resolved the messsage

For Windows updates use Windows updater.
For Hardware updates use HP updater.
