Wireless Card Going Slow

I have been noticing that My internet has been going slow the past couple of weeks. I recently got a new wireless card and have the most updated settings. It seemed to be working fine until recently. I checked with my ISP and with speedtests on a mac on the same network i am getting 11+ speeds to download, while my windows 7 pc is getting roughly 1-5.. mostly 1.5 at the moment. I was wondering if there was some settings that got messed up?

I just plugged in my usb wireless adapter for the same pc and I was getting speeds of 11.. So it has to be some kind of setting with my PCI wireless card.. Or it is defective.. The reason I switched to PCI was that whenever My computer would go to sleep (with my usb wirless adapter) and I would turn it on, It would freeze..

It is a Rosewill RNX-G300LX, which comes to having a ralink t61 turbo wireless driver..

Thanks for the help in advance,
Carlos

If you are using any security/antivirus/firewall try disabling them and trying again.

If it is one of those items we can suggest functional free replacements.

sounds like outdated drivers, a lot of the wifi devices have bad win 7 drivers. If you dig into the manufacturer's website you may find software/driver updates there.
