andy62, welcome to the Seven Forums.

Looks like Creative has dropped support for that model, with no driver for it for Windows 7. However there is a Vista driver for it,

Creative Worldwide Support > Live! Cam Vista IM (VF0260)

    that should work.

    vista driver works for win7

Download the driver for Vista from Creative website.
Extract the files from within the exe file (winrar)
    Should be 3 files.
    One is Setup.exe
    Download Universal Extractor (search google)
Use Universal Extractor to extract the files from within Setup.exe.
Manually update the device driver, point to the folder with the extracted files from Setup.exe.
It worked for me, my creative live cam vista im vf0260 now works on windows 7 64bit.

    update live cam driver

Have you extracted the setup.exe file : you should get two maps : MAINDIR and TEMP.

    Go to Device manager:

    Windows 7
    1. Select Start from the bottom-left corner of your screen.
    2. Choose Control Panel.
    3. Select the first option called System and Security.
    4. Select System. In this window there should be a general overview of your computer.
    5. On the left hand side there is a list and near the top is the Device Manager. Click on this and it should list all the components installed on your computer.
you should see a not recognized (livecam) driver and right click on it: then update the driver by showing it the way to you 'MAINDIR'- map. Et voila
