Hello Tristana and welcome to Seven Forums. Part of the problem might be that the last update for the 8212F was for Vista. Did you try installing in compatibility mode?

yes, i checked that site and i downloaded the Gigaraid software , but still gives the same stupid message.

also now the problem became worse , the computer doesnt start windows like before, just stops with the black screen with white list filled with numbers and at the start of computer i get an "OC Fail" message.....

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any Windows 7 driver support for the ITE controller.

    Dear Tristana,
Your system has serious problems which you have to address first!
    1) What gaming and what speeds of any processes can you expect with "ONE GB RAM" installed on a 64 bit machine? You've got to jack that up.
    2) My Graphics card (GE Force 8400 GS) is the same as yours and is "(i am being very cautious here)almost" no good for gaming(serious gaming, of course) The Card has dragged my WEI (Windows Experience Index) to 3.5 when the max. is 7.9

    regards,
    Sreedhav

    Dear Tristana,
I seem to be a bearer of bad news for you everytime! OC failure is -simply put "OverClocking failed". Did you do any OC on your own in trying to extract more juice out of the sugarcane? Did any of your tech-savvy friends help you do it? Eitherway, unless done properly"oc"ing is a no for novices? The usual cause seems to be over-heating of either the cpu, Gpu or the Psu: source is a good read. Link : Please help revive system - OC failed message -newbie- - General-Discussions - Overclocking

    Best wishes,

i was really confused what to do next, so i went to the nearest gigabyte customer service and they told me the problem is in the mother board and also updating bios was wrong cuz i updated it with the wrong version (the newer one). so i gave them the computer hoping to get fixed soon :)

thx to everyone in here for the help.
