Windows 7: Samsung CLP-300 printer

Samsung CLP-300 printer

I used to be able to print on this printer from my 64-bit Win 7, but now I can't. I can still print on my other printers.

My son plugs the same printer into his Mac and prints fine.

When I try to print from Word 2002, I get:
Windows cannot print due to a problem with the current printer setup.
Try one or more of the following:
* Check the printer by printing a test page from Windows
* Make sure the printer is turned on and online (it is)
* Reinstall the printer driver. (I even did that)

When I reinstalled, I was successful in printing a test page. There is no way I can find to print a test page from Windows. When I look at devices and printers, the dialog says the device is working properly.

When I try to print from Notepad, I get: The handle is invalid.

What now? I'd like to be able to use my printer.
