Ok, just plug out your FW card and insert it in the another PCI slot. That way it'll get another IRQ - usually one PCI port is on a non shared IRQ - you need to figure out which one is.

solution to FireWire IRQ issue

Hello
Using the onboard IEEE I had issues with using my Focusrite Saffire FireWire card.
The issue is was that the IRQ set to that port was 19 and was shared by other devices. So I bought an SIIG Firewire 3-port PCI I/O card and installed it in one of my PCI slots on my Motherboard - that slot was assigned IR 16 and all the issues are gone.

IEEE 1394 Controller
I have some problem with my firewire driver. It is not recognized (see the picture in the attachment). I tried to add the 1394 OHCI Compliant Host Controller (Legacy), but with no success. Does this mean that my firewire hardware is not compatible with Win 7?

IEEE 1394 Bus Host Controller must be disabled/enabled
I have a Ricoh, but changed it to the Legacy driver. I still have to manually disable / enable it to access my drive. I guess the Windows team figured it would make good use of a persons free time. :p Anyone know how to fix this? If the external is running when I boot, I have to go through...
